Groundskeeper

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to become a part of our team and help ensure we maintain an attractive and safe campus for our residents, villagers, team members, and guests. As a Groundskeeper working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.

This opening is for a full-time day shift position working Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job Description:

As a Groundskeeper, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

Landscaping maintenance tasks including; mowing, weeding, edging, mulch installation, pruning, leaf collection, etc.
Performing snow and ice removal, garbage and recycling collection and landscape installations/renovations.
Performing maintenance of grounds vehicles and equipment including oil changes, greasing of parts, sharpening blades and minor repairs.
Ensuring good customer relations and a high department image through personal contact and enforcement of quality standards.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.
Ability to read work related material and to follow directions.
Pennsylvania applicator certification in category 6 and/or 7 preferred.
