Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our wholesale distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality, and maintaining efficient shipping operations. Your energetic approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers by ensuring timely and precise dispatch of goods.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pack products using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips and shipping labels before dispatch
- Label packages clearly with correct shipping information for efficient delivery
- Operate packing equipment and shipping software to process outgoing shipments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing station to ensure safety and productivity
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the movement of goods for shipment
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards before sealing and shipping
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move packages throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in packing and labeling processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic understanding of shipping procedures and logistics software is preferred
- Good communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages safely and consistently throughout the day
