We’re seeking a warm, attentive, and service-driven Front Desk Hospitality Specialist to join our seasonal team. As the first point of contact for guests at Otis Harbor Springs, you'll set the tone for their stay—creating a sense of ease, welcome, and genuine connection. This is more than a front desk job; it’s an opportunity to help guests unwind, discover the natural beauty of Northern Michigan, and feel truly taken care of from the moment they arrive.

This seasonal role has the potential to grow into a year-round position for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for sincere hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for their stay
Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with efficiency and accuracy
Respond to guest needs, requests, and feedback with care and urgency
Provide personalized recommendations for local attractions and outdoor experiences
Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically aligned front desk and lobby area
Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous, informed manner
Support night audit duties as needed

Qualifications

Prior hospitality or guest service experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, calm demeanor
Comfort with technology and hotel reservation systems (training provided)
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
An eye for detail and appreciation for aesthetics and guest experience
A love for the outdoors and local knowledge of Northern Michigan is a bonus

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
