Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will support administrative functions, enhance communication, and contribute to a productive work environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop their office skills and provide exceptional customer support.

Duties

Types, files and disperses reports to authorized agencies and personnel
Works with confidential and sensitive information
Acts as front desk receptionist and routes all inquiries to appropriate personnel
Maintains incoming and outgoing mail and other materials that need to
be forwarded, enters citations and court dispositions on computer software and prepares documentation for courts, enters subpoenas
Assists on Sexual and Violent Offender Registry (SVOR):assists to ensure offenders are registered and that registration is kept current assist in maintaining records and files on offenders; assists in making efforts to locate offenders; and assists in reporting when an offender is non-compliant
Works upon direction with light civil paperwork creates and maintains case files and is responsible for their safety
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Graduation from high school or its equivalent. One (1) year experience in secretarial or professional office experience and computer skills
Respects and safeguards non-public confidential information and the privacy of victims/witnesses, employees and elected officials
