Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging examinations.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any operational concerns.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Imaging program.
- Current ARRT certification (for applicable modalities) or appropriate specialty credential.
- Current state license (where required).
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the applicable imaging specialty preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Previous travel experience is a plus but not required.
