Full Job Description

$14.75–$18.31/hour, credit given for experience, plus shift differential and holiday pay. Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a full-time evening Medication Technician, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do

Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director
Support activities of daily living according to individualized care plans
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to clinical staff
Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
Follow community policies, procedures, and state medication management requirements

What You'll Need

Required:

18 years of age or older
Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification
Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Preferred:

1 year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience — Elm Crest will train the right candidate who holds the required certification but has less experience
Experience administering medications in a senior living setting
