About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Private Personal & Household Manager / Executive Personal Assistant to serve as the trusted right hand to a busy executive and his family.This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position and not solely a household management role. It is a unique, hands-on position combining personal assistance, household management, family logistics, travel coordination, health and appointment support, and selective executive/business support.The person in this role will take ownership of the details that allow the principal's personal, household, and professional life to operate smoothly.One moment may involve preparing for an important business meeting or coordinating travel; another may involve organizing the medicine cabinet, grocery shopping, taking the principal to an appointment, coordinating household staff, or stepping in to help with a family need.No task is considered too small when it contributes to keeping the household and the principal's life organized, prepared, and running smoothly.The right person will be proactive rather than reactive. You will learn how the principal operates, anticipate what is needed, create systems where they do not exist, and resolve issues before they become problems.
What You Will Be Responsible ForPersonal & Daily Support
- Manage day-to-day personal logistics for the principal.
- Maintain calendars, appointments, reminders, and personal commitments.
- Accompany and/or drive the principal to appointments and other commitments when needed.
- Coordinate medical appointments and health-related logistics.
- Maintain organized medication and medicine-cabinet systems, including tracking refills and ensuring needed items are available.
- Handle grocery shopping, household purchases, errands, returns, and other personal needs.
- Anticipate upcoming needs and prepare accordingly.
Household ManagementYou will have primary responsibility for ensuring the household operates efficiently and consistently.Responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate the nanny and other household staff.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for household schedules and needs.
- Manage vendors, contractors, maintenance providers, cleaners, and other service professionals.
- Ensure household supplies, groceries, medications, and essential items are stocked.
- Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, deliveries, and household projects.
- Maintain organization throughout the residence.
- Develop household systems, checklists, schedules, and routines.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, serviced, clean, fueled, and ready when needed.
- Identify household issues proactively rather than waiting to be asked.
Family Support:
The nanny will remain primarily responsible for childcare; however, this position must be willing and able to step in when circumstances require it.
Examples may include:
- Picking children up from school or activities if the nanny is unavailable.
- Helping coordinate children's schedules and transportation.
- Supporting unexpected family logistics.
- Ensuring continuity when another household team member is sick, traveling, or unavailable.
This role requires a team-first mentality. The objective is not to define tasks by "whose job" they are, but to ensure that important responsibilities are handled.
TravelApproximately 25–30% travel is expected.
The successful candidate must be comfortable traveling with the principal and potentially the family as needed.
Travel responsibilities may include:
- Planning itineraries, flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and reservations.
- Preparing the principal for upcoming travel.
- Packing or coordinating packing and ensuring essential personal items, medications, documents, and materials are accounted for.
- Managing logistics while traveling.
- Adjusting plans quickly when circumstances change.
- Coordinating household and family needs while the principal is away.
Travel may occasionally require schedule flexibility, including evenings or weekends.
Executive & Business Support:
Although the primary focus is personal and household operations, this individual will also become a trusted extension of the principal in certain professional settings.
Responsibilities may include:
- Accompanying the principal to selected business meetings.
- Assisting with meeting preparation and materials.
- Taking notes and tracking follow-up items.
- Helping organize documents and information before meetings.
- Coordinating with business associates, advisors, and other professionals.
- Providing logistical and organizational support during business travel.
- Helping ensure information and materials are accessible and prepared when needed.
The successful candidate must therefore be equally comfortable interacting with household staff, physicians, contractors, family members, and senior business executives.

Documents and information can be located immediately. Tomorrow's priorities have been anticipated today. When something unexpected occurs, there is a capable person who can calmly take ownership and resolve it. Our goal is to create an environment that combines the service standards of a five-star hotel, the organization of an executive office, and the trust and familiarity of an exceptional private household.

This position will carry a significant level of responsibility and trust.
You may regularly represent the principal when communicating with:

You must be able to communicate confidently and professionally while protecting the privacy of the principal and family at all times.

As trust develops, the scope of the role may evolve to include additional sensitive personal or business matters and increased coordination with the principal's professional advisors. Any expansion of responsibility will be based on demonstrated judgment, discretion, capability, and mutual trust.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
