Reports to: Packaging Manager
Must have active OLCC Marijuana’s worker permit
Must be 21 years old
Full-Time position is 4 days per week (M-TH) from 7:30am- 5:30pm
Packagers prepare products for wholesale and retail sale by executing consistent,
accurate, and compliant packaging procedures across multiple brands and product
categories. They may also assist the fulfillment department during high-volume periods.
Performance-based incentives will be available based on team and department goals.
Duties Include
Handling cannabis products and weighing them out in specific amounts.
Labeling boxes and bags according to our SOPs as to abide by local OLCC
regulations.
Using vape filling equipment- ATG and Thompson Duke to fill cartridges.
Experience with these machines is a plus but we will train over time.
Quality Control & Compliance
Verify all products meet brand specifications before leaving the production area.
Ensure each unit has correct labels, batch information, and compliant packaging.
Uphold all internal SOPs and OLCC regulations.
Cross-Department Support
Assist the fulfillment team with order building or QC during peak times.
Help stage packaged products for storage, vault intake, or distribution.
Organization & Efficiency
Maintain an organized workstation and proper storage material.
Report shortages of jars, lids, labels, seals, or other materials to the packaging
manger promptly.
Suggest workflow or process improvements to increase accuracy or efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
High manual dexterity and comfort with repetitive, precise tasks.
Preference for a quieter, more isolated role with independent work.
Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments between
50–60°F several days per week when packaging certain products.
Comfortable working with cannabis and hemp products of all types.
Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Prior experience in cannabis packaging, food production, or assembly-line work
preferred but not required.
