The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to execute marketing and communications initiatives that grow membership, increase engagement, strengthen sponsorships, support events and advocacy, and help drive revenue.

This role is ideal for someone who can take direction and independently turn a strategy or idea into a completed campaign, email, social post, graphic, presentation, or other marketing piece—while also paying attention to results and looking for ways to improve the work.

PRLA is the leading advocate and resource for Pennsylvania’s hospitality and tourism industries. We work closely with restaurant owners, hotel operators, tourism organizations, students, and industry partners to support advocacy, workforce development, education, and industry growth across the Commonwealth.

At PRLA, we’re a small but passionate team committed to supporting an industry built on service, community, and connection.

About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will:

Create graphics, presentations, social media content, emails, event materials, and other marketing materials
Build and execute email marketing, social media, and digital advertising campaigns
Coordinate projects, calendars, and deadlines from assignment to completion
Support membership, sponsorship, donor, advocacy, Educational Foundation, and event marketing initiatives
Pull and organize performance data, track results, and flag trends or opportunities to improve future campaigns
Use AI and modern marketing technology to improve content, workflows, and productivity
Assist with board communications and other organizational needs

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and plays an important role in advancing PRLA’s mission to strengthen and support Pennsylvania’s hospitality and tourism industries.

You Might Be a Great Fit if You:

Enjoy taking a project from idea through execution
Are creative, organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Can manage multiple projects and deadlines without needing constant supervision
Have strong writing and communication skills
Have experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
Have experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar platforms to create content, organize information, solve problems, and increase productivity
Pay attention to results and are comfortable bringing forward ideas and recommendations
Enjoy collaborating and working as part of a small team where everyone contributes

Experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, tourism, or nonprofit/association marketing is a plus.
