Full Job Description

University of Pittsburgh Physicians/Pittsburgh, PA seeks Pediatric Neurologists (multiple openings) to specialize in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders in children and adolescents; work closely with young patients and their families to manage conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles; conduct thorough neurological examinations of pediatric patients; diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and neuromuscular diseases; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; and monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Position requires working at locations throughout Dauphin, Franklin, Adams, and Cumberland Counties, Pennsylvania.

Job Responsibilities:

Specialize in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders in children and adolescents; work closely with young patients and their families to manage conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles; conduct thorough neurological examinations of pediatric patients; diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and neuromuscular diseases; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; and monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Position requires working at locations throughout Dauphin, Franklin, Adams, and Cumberland Counties, Pennsylvania.

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or foreign degree equivalent
Completion of two years’ residency training in Pediatrics;
Completion of three years’ residency training in Child Neurology;
Valid unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (allopathic or osteopathic)
