Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality, safety, and service. Your leadership will inspire creativity in menu development, maintain high standards in food presentation, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and excellence. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency.
Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences, including options for fine dining and catering events.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities.
Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with nutritional guidelines.
Oversee banquet and catering services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service for large events.
Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Maintain a positive team environment by providing mentorship, training opportunities, and leadership that motivates staff to excel.

Requirements

Proven experience in kitchen management or as a head chef within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production, food handling, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse teams in a high-volume environment.
Knowledge of inventory management systems, food safety protocols, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
Experience with banquet service, catering operations, and fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning, shift management, and inventory control.
Familiarity with dietary requirements and the ability to adapt menus accordingly.
