Full Job Description

Overview:

The Breast Imaging Technologist works under general supervision of the Chief Radiologic Technologist by performing accurate screening and diagnostic mammography exams for patients in a timely manner; works effectively with physicians, patients and other clinic personnel.

Responsibilities:

Performs high quality screening and diagnostic mammograms
Obtains patient history and accurately enters information into the EMR
Act as an agent to obtain patient information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment
Assists patients in dressing and navigation through clinic
Is proficient in the technical operation of all diagnostic equipment; uses proper care in handling equipment

Qualifications:

Graduation from Certified Radiological Tec Program ARRT
2 years related experience and/or training
