Join Our Growing Eye Care Team!

We’re growing—and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to grow with us!

If you enjoy working with people, have a sharp eye for detail, and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As an Optometric Assistant, you’ll work alongside our optometrists to provide exceptional patient care while helping keep each patient visit organized, efficient, and welcoming.

What You’ll Do

Assist our optometrists in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Perform preliminary vision testing, including visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception.
Obtain patient medical histories and accurately document health information.
Prepare patients for eye examinations and procedures.
Administer eye drops or medications as directed by the healthcare provider.
Perform diagnostic testing, including tonometry, visual fields, retinal imaging, and other specialized testing.
Clean, sterilize, and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
Educate patients about eye care and proper contact lens use.
Accurately document patient information in our electronic medical record system.
Help create a positive, professional, and friendly experience from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is organized, dependable, energetic, and ready to be part of a team!

Strong computer skills with fast and accurate typing abilities.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document medical information.
Foundational knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmic terminology is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and healthcare professionals.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
