Full Job Description

Experience the Difference! Private Practice Dermatology Office looking for a Part-time and Full-time Employee to assist with Administrative Front Desk duties along with learning clinical.

In Dermatology, Administrative and Clinical Staff both truly play a vital role to ensure our patients are taken care of and kept as the number one priority.

Administrative duties:

Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and overseeing the front desk.
Handling patient registrations, including verifying personal and insurance information.
Maintaining and organizing medical records, including electronic health records (EHRs).
Managing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and routing messages to appropriate staff members.
Assisting with billing and coding processes, including collecting all copays, deductibles and balances.
Coordinating referrals to specialists and obtaining necessary authorizations.
Assisting with patient follow-ups, including scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
