Siding Project Manager / Field Operations Manager
A1 Home Improvement LLC is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Siding Project Manager / Field Operations Manager to oversee multiple residential siding projects and installation crews.
This is a full-time management position that combines field supervision, project scheduling, quality control, customer communication, and office responsibilities.
We are looking for an experienced siding professional who is highly knowledgeable in multiple siding systems and installation methods. This position is not entry-level. The right candidate must have strong siding experience, understand proper installation practices, and be capable of managing multiple crews and projects at the same time.
The Siding Project Manager will spend time both on the road visiting jobsites and in the office coordinating projects, schedules, crews, materials, customers, and internal company operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple active siding projects from scheduling through completion
- Supervise and coordinate siding crews on a daily basis
- Schedule projects, crews, material deliveries, equipment, and inspections
- Visit jobsites regularly to inspect progress and workmanship
- Perform quality-control inspections throughout each phase of installation
- Ensure siding installations are completed according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Review job scopes and project details before crews begin work
- Communicate expectations and installation requirements with crews and subcontractors
- Identify workmanship issues and coordinate corrective action
- Manage punch lists and ensure all projects are properly completed before closeout
- Track project progress and update job information in company software systems
- Communicate with homeowners regarding schedules, project progress, and jobsite concerns
- Coordinate with sales representatives, office staff, production staff, suppliers, and company management
- Verify that the correct materials have been ordered and delivered
- Identify material shortages or incorrect deliveries and coordinate replacements
- Manage multiple projects with different siding materials and installation requirements
- Document jobsite progress and quality-control issues using CompanyCam
- Maintain accurate project notes, photos, schedules, and customer communication records
- Assist in resolving installation problems and difficult field conditions
- Review completed work and ensure projects meet company expectations before final completion
Required Siding Experience
Candidates must be highly experienced and knowledgeable in multiple siding systems and applications, including:
- Vinyl siding
- Fiber cement siding
- James Hardie siding systems
- Composite siding
- Engineered wood siding
- Board and batten siding
- Shake and shingle siding
- Insulated siding systems
- Exterior trim systems
- Aluminum trim and coil work
- Fascia, rake, and soffit systems
- Window and door trim
- Flashing and water-management details
- Housewrap and weather-resistive barriers
- Siding transitions and termination details
- Starter strips, J-channel, utility trim, and accessory installation
- Exterior wall preparation and sheathing repairs
The ideal candidate should understand not only how siding is installed, but also how to identify improper installation, flashing deficiencies, water-infiltration risks, finish problems, and workmanship issues.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Valid driver's license is mandatory

- Ability to travel between multiple jobsites throughout the workday

The Siding Project Manager will be expected to regularly use technology to manage projects, including:

Work Environment
This is a combination field and office position.
The Siding Project Manager will be responsible for traveling between active jobsites, performing quality-control inspections, communicating with crews and customers, and returning to the office as needed to manage schedules, project documentation, material coordination, and other production responsibilities.
