Full Job Description

Looking for a part-time community retail pharmacist to meet unique needs. As a community pharmacist, customer relation is of the utmost importance. Candidate must show excellent qualities and interpersonal skills as well as ability to functionally interact and thrive in a team environment; this is critical to job function and must be adequately conveyed to be considered.

OBJECTIVES

Provide pharmacy consulting services and reviews and interprets orders for customers regarding the effective usage of medications and awareness with drug interactions.
Offer preventive healthcare services such as immunizations and OTC recommendations.
Responsible for the review and verification of prescribed medications within Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Support and maximize pharmacy efficiency and workflow.
Assist the pharmacy manager and leadership team in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and enhance customer experience.
Ability to interact with pharmacy staff, healthcare teams, and families to ensure highest quality of care and continuity of care for all customers and patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Pharmacist License from an accredited educational institution.

Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
Immunization Certified
MTM Certified
CPR License Current
Must be able to work weekends

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years experience as a pharmacist with duties including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
