Full Job Description

Schedule: 31-hour/week fixed schedule

Monday - Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm

Friday: 9am-12noon

Axford Senior Marketing is seeking a dependable, professional Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This Administrative Assistant position plays an important role in supporting daily office operations, processing new business, communicating with agents, and ensuring our office runs efficiently. We are looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, communicating with people, and taking ownership of their work.

This is not simply a front desk position. The Administrative Assistant will be involved in a variety of administrative, operational, and agent-support responsibilities and will become a key member of our team.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for agents and clients by phone, email, and in person
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Process applications and new business paperwork accurately
Track and follow up on outstanding requirements
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Assist with agent communications and outreach initiatives
Support internal projects and administrative workflows
Provide support to multiple departments as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Dependable and self-motivated
Comfortable managing multiple priorities throughout the day
Professional when communicating with clients, agents, and team members
Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Comfortable learning new software and systems
Able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Some college coursework preferred
Previous administrative assistant, office assistant, receptionist, customer service, or office administration experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience handling confidential information
Strong data entry and organizational skills
