Complete Environmental & Remediation Co., LLC is seeking an experienced Environmental Field Supervisor / Foreman to lead and supervise field crews performing environmental remediation, hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, environmental construction, and related field services.
The Environmental Field Supervisor / Foreman is responsible for directing daily field activities, supervising technicians, maintaining safe and productive jobsites, coordinating equipment and personnel, communicating with project management and clients, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, company procedures, and applicable safety and environmental requirements.
This position is a working supervisor and will be expected to participate directly in field activities while providing leadership and oversight to the crew.
Essential Functions
· Supervise, direct, and coordinate environmental field crews and technicians.
· Assign daily work activities and ensure personnel understand the scope of work and job expectations.
· Conduct and participate in daily safety meetings, job briefings, JSA reviews, and pre-task planning.
· Ensure employees follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, HAZWOPER requirements, and site-specific procedures.
· Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
· Lead crews performing environmental remediation, spill cleanup, contaminated material removal, industrial cleaning, and environmental construction activities.
· Supervise the handling, packaging, loading, transportation, and staging of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste.
· Coordinate the use of vacuum trucks, pumps, pressure washers, excavators, skid steers, track hoes, backhoes, trailers, and other environmental and construction equipment.
· Inspect equipment, hoses, pumps, connections, tools, vehicles, and work areas before and during operations.
· Ensure equipment is properly operated, maintained, cleaned, and secured.
· Assist with troubleshooting equipment and field conditions and make appropriate decisions to keep work progressing safely.
· Direct the loading, hooking up, operation, and breakdown of vacuum truck hoses and associated equipment.
· Supervise excavation, material handling, soil removal, debris removal, decontamination, and site cleanup activities.
· Ensure contaminated materials are properly handled and managed in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
· Monitor work progress and communicate project status, problems, delays, and additional work requirements to project management.
· Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other site personnel.
· Complete daily reports, timesheets, equipment inspection forms, waste documentation, work orders, and other required project documentation.
· Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment, materials, waste quantities, and field activities.
· Train, coach, and mentor technicians in safe work practices, equipment operation, environmental procedures, and company expectations.
· Enforce company policies and address unsafe or unacceptable work practices immediately.
· Assist management with employee performance evaluations and recommendations for additional training.
· Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure work areas are cleaned and secured at the completion of each job.
· Perform physical field work alongside crew members when necessary.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications
· Minimum 3–5 years of environmental, industrial, construction, remediation, or related field experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
· Previous experience supervising or leading field crews preferred.
· Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
· Ability to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, work plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
· Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, clients, and other site personnel.
· Ability to complete required field documentation accurately.
· Ability to make sound decisions and take appropriate action when unexpected field conditions arise.
· Must demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, reliability, and attention to safety.
· Must be willing and able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and adverse conditions.
· Must be willing to travel and work out of town as required.
· Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours when project conditions require.
Physical Requirements
The position requires frequent physical activity and the ability to work in demanding industrial and environmental conditions.
The successful candidate must be able to:
· Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, shovel, lift, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
· Work in confined spaces when properly trained, authorized, and equipped.
· Work around hazardous materials, chemical products, contaminated soil, wastewater, petroleum products, fumes, dust, and airborne contaminants.
· Safely operate or supervise the operation of high-pressure water equipment.
· Carry and maneuver industrial hoses and equipment weighing up to approximately 60 pounds.
· Wear respiratory protection and other required PPE when medically qualified, fit-tested, and properly trained.
· Work safely around heavy equipment, vacuum trucks, pumps, excavators, skid steers, and other industrial equipment.

Training and Certifications
Complete Environmental & Remediation Co., LLC will provide required company training and applicable safety certifications. Additional certifications and experience in the following areas are preferred:
· OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER
· OSHA 10-Hour Construction or General Industry
· Confined Space Entry
· Respiratory Protection
· Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck
· Heavy equipment operation
· First Aid/CPR
· Hazardous waste handling and transportation
· Environmental remediation
Work Schedule and Travel
· Full-time position
· Approximately 40 hours per week, with additional hours as project requirements dictate
· 8-hour shifts are typical; extended shifts may be required
· Overnight and out-of-area assignments may be required
· Must be accessible by telephone and able to report to the office or designated jobsite as required
· Work is performed primarily in person and in the field
