Position Overview
As an Industrial Technician at Tandemloc, you may find yourself blasting, thermal zincing, painting, sawing, or assembling materials per technical drawings throughout your day. You’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced, safety-first manufacturing environment as part of the team in producing high-quality parts and assemblies.
Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (10-hour shifts)
- + Overtime as required
- Pay: $18.80-$19.71/hour (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform abrasive blasting on steel components of various shapes and sizes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
- Assemble parts to specification per technical drawings and SOPs.
- Apply coatings using HVLP spray and thermal zincing per manufacturer specifications and technical drawings.
- Measure and verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, squares, and related tools.
- Cut/saw material to size according to technical drawings.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Must remain clean-shaven to meet safety requirements for respirator use.
- Work independently, meeting quality and production standards with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years of manufacturing and/or related experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Certifications:
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs., stand/kneel/bend)
- Comfortable in loud, hot, and non-climate-controlled environments
- Must be safety-focused and detail-oriented
- Must be able to do repetitive tasks
- Able to wear full PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, blast helmet, gloves, respirator, etc.)
