Full Job Description

Barclay Friends is a Quaker values-based Skilled Nursing, Personal Care, Memory Care, and Post-Acute Rehabilitation center.

Barclay Friends is currently seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to join our nursing leadership team!

Shifts:

Every other Saturday and Sunday

16 hours bi-weekly

7am-3:30pm

Essential Functions:

Responsible for managing staff, overseeing the care of the residents, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
Assisting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Director of Clinical Services/ (DON) in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Provides hands-on care to residents as needed, however, the primary role is to oversee the resident care provided by shift nurses. He or she will ensure that the care the nurses provide to their residents is appropriate and comprehensive, and those staff-resident interactions are handled appropriately. The nurse manager will also interact directly with residents’ families to answer their questions and ease their concerns.
Responsible for ensuring staffing is at adequate levels to meet patient needs and address staffing concerns as they arise. The manager will address performance concerns with staff as they arise.

Qualifications:

Current licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse.
Update BLS CPR Certification
Previous Long Term Care experience
Atleast 3 years Nursing Supervisory experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and with an electronic medical records system
