Full Job Description

Reisenauer Dermatology is seeking an organized, motivated, and dependable Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist to oversee financial operations, staffing, and logistics for our practice. Medical office experience preferred, but not required.

Must be willing and able to quickly learn our medical software programs: Advanced MD and ModMed. This job requires proficiency and skill with scheduling software.

Schedule: 30+ hours per week (Monday–Friday, flexible within business hours of 8am-5pm)

May require working one weekend/ month.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience

Position Summary

The candidate must have a willingness to learn new medical software systems and be able to interact with staff and patients in a polite, professional manner.

 Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow.

 Manage front desk operations including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and

phone systems.

 Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Staff Supervision & HR Support

 Supervise, train, and support front desk staff

 Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

 Foster a positive and professional team environment

Financial & Billing Oversight

 Run bi-weekly payroll

Technology & Systems

 Utilize and manage electronic medical record systems.

 Willingness to learn and adapt to medical software and practice management systems.

 Troubleshoot minor system issues and coordinate with IT support when necessary.

Patient Experience

 Ensure exceptional customer service standards.

 Address patient concerns and resolve issues professionally and confidentially.

Qualifications

 Experience in office management or similar roles with supervisory responsibilities.

 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to facilitate clear internal and external interactions

 Previous experience in medical office management preferred but not required.

 High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

 Willingness to learn dermatology-specific medical software.

Duties

 Oversee daily office operations, including front desk and phone systems.

 Manage scheduling for meetings and appointments.

 Supervise front desk staff and coordinate schedules with nursing team.

 Oversee supplies procurement.

 Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing.

 Onboard new employees, manage employee files, and ensure compliance with company policies.

 Organize company events and meetings to promote team cohesion and morale.

 Document scanning

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
