Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, efficient environment. Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and optimal team performance
Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to meet safety standards and quality expectations
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support restaurant profitability
Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for team members
Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to diversify revenue streams
Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, communication, and conflict resolution

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on food service operations
Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety protocols
Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while minimizing waste
Experience in managing budgets, costs, and financial performance within a hospitality setting
Familiarity with quick service & fast food restaurant operations as well as fine dining environments
Leadership qualities that motivate teams towards achieving operational excellence
Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction
Experience in kitchen management, food production, catering or banquet services is highly desirable
Knowledge of hospitality management principles including training & development strategies
Ability to handle cash accurately during shift changes and daily transactions
