Home Instead Long Beach is looking for a full-time Office Administrator & Recruiting Support professional to help keep our office organized and support the hiring and onboarding of our Care Professionals.

This role combines day-to-day office administration with hands-on recruiting and onboarding support. You'll help keep candidates engaged, new hires moving through the process, and our office running smoothly.

What You'll Do

•
Welcome applicants, employees, clients, families, and visitors to the office

•
Answer and direct incoming phone calls

•
Communicate with applicants and provide timely follow-up

•
Schedule and conduct interviews and assist with candidate coordination

•
Help keep applicants moving through the hiring process

•
Prepare new-hire paperwork and onboarding materials

•
Assist with orientation scheduling and preparation

•
Track hiring requirements and follow up on outstanding documents

•
Maintain organized employee and administrative records

•
Prepare documents, correspondence, and other office materials

•
Order and maintain office supplies and inventory

•
Assist with meetings, trainings, employee communications, and office events

•
Provide general administrative support to the office team

•
Jump in and help as office priorities change

What We're Looking For

•
Previous administrative, office, receptionist, recruiting support, or similar experience

•
Strong communication and customer service skills

•
Excellent organization and attention to detail

•
Strong follow-through — you don't let things fall through the cracks

•
Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and in person

•
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy office

•
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based systems

•
Able to learn new technology and processes quickly

•
Professional and able to handle confidential information appropriately

•
Dependable, collaborative, and willing to jump in where needed

Experience with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, home care, senior care, healthcare, or a fast-paced service environment is a plus.
