ECU Nurse Manager
Haxtun Health is seeking a skilled ECU Nurse Manager to guide our Extended Care Unit and help deliver outstanding care to our patients and residents every day. Haxtun Health's Extended Care Unit (ECU) is a close-knit skilled nursing community that provides compassionate, 24-hour nursing care, rehabilitation, and supportive services for patients with both short-term and long-term care needs. Starting Pay Range: $93,600/yr – $121,680/yr , depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight. This position supports the delivery of safe, compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, staff development, and efficient department operations.
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and support to nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), develops and maintains staffing schedules, supports patient care coordination, and may provide direct patient care as needed.
The Nurse Manager participates in the nursing administration on-call rotation and may provide leadership support, clinical consultation, and direct patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership, charge nurse, supervisory, or staff coordination experience.
- Current or ability to obtain within established timeframes:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in extended care, acute care, emergency nursing, or nursing leadership.

Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.

Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
