Full Job Description

We are an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company manufacturing in the California Bay Area for 30+ years. We are seeking a bilingual individual experienced in the following position.

1. Quality Assurance Manager and Management Representative

The QA & MR is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, NADCAP) and customer requirements. This role also acts as the Management Representative (MR) to ensure the integrity and compliance of the QMS, coordinating audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and driving quality excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

QA Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001 and relevant standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 13485, NADCAP).
Create and maintain QMS documentation including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.
Monitor and ensure compliance with internal quality processes and customer requirements.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party audits, including surveillance and recertification audits.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Manage document control and quality records in accordance with standard requirements.
Analyze quality data and generate reports for management review.

Management Representative (MR) Responsibilities:

Serve as the official liaison between the organization and external certification bodies.
Report on the performance of the QMS to top management and recommend improvements.
Ensure that processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented, and maintained.
Promote awareness of customer requirements and quality objectives throughout the organization.
Organize and facilitate Management Review meetings.
Support training and awareness programs related to QMS and compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with FDA regulations
Bilingual proficiency to facilitate communication in diverse teams
Expertise in conducting quality audits and inspections
Understanding of quality management systems and methodologies
Project management skills with strong analytical capabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
