Full Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional ready to work in a collaborative operating room setting, providing critical technical assistance and ensuring optimal outcomes during cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist, preferably with a CVOR specialty
Proven experience supporting cardiovascular operating rooms (minimum recent experience required)
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation specific to CVOR
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time schedule, hours will vary depending on surgical case volume and facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and supplies for cardiovascular procedures
Assist surgeons and nurses as needed before, during, and after operations
Monitor sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards throughout each case
Anticipate team needs during procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are readily available
Assist with the setup and operation of specialized surgical equipment
Participate in OR turnover and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
