Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of managing accurate financial records for diverse organizations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in accounting systems and financial software to ensure precise bookkeeping, support financial reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP standards. Your energetic approach will help streamline processes, reconcile accounts, and contribute to the overall financial health of our clients. Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken to record transactions and generate reports
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify account integrity
Process payroll using appropriate payroll software and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and budget analysis
Maintain meticulous records of debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation procedures

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in accounting roles with familiarity in general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting practices is preferred
Ability to perform bank reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliation accurately
Experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial report writing is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of 10 key typing and data entry accuracy
Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and budget management
