Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Part-Time AI Search, GEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to help expand our visibility across AI-powered search platforms, traditional search engines, Reddit, and other online channels patients use when researching dermatology and aesthetic treatments.
This role is particularly focused on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI search visibility, Reddit/community engagement, competitive research, and content opportunities.
You will work alongside our existing website and marketing team. This is not primarily a Google Ads, social media posting, or web-development position.
Responsibilities
- Monitor how our practice, physicians, treatments, and competitors appear across ChatGPT, Google AI/AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and emerging AI platforms.
- Research why certain competitors appear more prominently in AI-generated and traditional search results and identify opportunities to improve our visibility.
- Track the sources, websites, directories, and other authority signals AI platforms use when recommending physicians and practices.
- Monitor Reddit discussions through F5Bot and direct research for relevant conversations about dermatology, aesthetic treatments, local provider recommendations, competitors, and patient concerns.
- Identify appropriate Reddit discussions where our practice can contribute helpful, transparent, educational information while following community rules.
- Coordinate with our physician or practice leadership when medical expertise is required before responding online.
- Identify recurring patient questions and turn those insights into recommendations for FAQs, treatment pages, physician Q&As, educational articles, comparison content, videos, and social media.
- Conduct competitive research on dermatology, aesthetic, and plastic surgery practices in the Cincinnati market.
- Monitor third-party physician and practice profiles, directories, reviews, mentions, and other online authority signals.
- Identify legitimate opportunities to strengthen physician and practice authority through reputable online sources, publications, directories, interviews, educational content, and other channels.
- Work with our existing website/SEO specialist to recommend website improvements based on AI search, competitor, Reddit, and patient-question research.
- Maintain a simple AI visibility and competitor tracking report to measure progress over time.
- Provide regular recommendations and actionable insights to practice leadership.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with SEO, local SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or related fields.
- Strong interest or experience in GEO/AEO and AI-powered search.
- Comfortable working with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI, and other emerging AI tools.
- Familiarity with Reddit and online communities.
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Google Business Profile, WordPress, or SEO tools is preferred.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay current with rapidly evolving AI and search technologies.
- Healthcare, dermatology, aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, med spa, or medical marketing experience is preferred but not required.
Because we are a medical practice, professionalism, accuracy, transparency, and patient privacy are extremely important. Medical questions requiring clinical judgment will be reviewed by our physician or appropriate clinical team member.

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply generate AI-written content. The ideal candidate can research, analyze, identify opportunities, execute appropriate strategies, coordinate with our existing team, and measure whether those efforts are actually improving our online and AI visibility.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montgomery, OH 45242
