Duties and Responsibilities :
Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.
1. The grading of finished product, following USDA standards or customer specifications whichever apply. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec.
2. Grading of raw materials, dry beans, sweeteners, vinegar etc.. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec.
3. In process grading of different products, i.e. green beans, bean salad, tomato products, dry beans, etc. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec.
4. Grading of Co- pack products, communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec.
5. Calibration of lab equipment.
6. Canning of dry bean samples and dry bean shipments.
7. Help with product cuttings.
8. Maintain cleanliness in work area and lab.
9. Other functions that may be required by Supervisor.
10. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting professionally, communicating and helping co-workers.
1. Must be able to follow directions.
2. Must be cooperative and maintain a team spirit.
3. Basic knowledge of Mathematics necessary
4. Must be able to be trained on the different lab equipment.
5. Sensory skills – a plus
6. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel on the floor as well as Supervision.
7. Must be meticulous and detail oriented.

Work Schedule:
This position typically follows the hours of the shift scheduled to work; however, working days may vary based on season. Typically, Monday through Friday. Very often Saturday. 12 hours Shifts may be required during busy times.
Hours:
2nd Shift-night shift - 3:00PM - 11:00 PM //3rd Shift -Overnight shift-11:00 PM-7:00 AM
20 minutes paid lunch
Salary: Up to $16.92
Earn Bonus Incentives:
2nd & 3rd shift Differential -$1.00 per hour
Attendance Bonus -$0.50 per hour
1st Pass Quality Bonus-$0.50 per hour
