Position Overview
As a Commercial Roofing Laborer, you will assist with installation, repair, and replacement of commercial flat roofing systems. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors, and following safety procedures. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train reliable workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Tear‑off and removal of existing roofing materials
- Install insulation, coverboard, and membrane systems (TPO/EPDM/PVC)
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean jobsite
- Assist foreman and crew with daily tasks
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Work at heights and in varying weather conditions
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on roofs and using ladders
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work full shifts outdoors
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Roofing experience is a plus but not required
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, or Modified Bitumen
- Knowledge of roofing fasteners, adhesives, and equipment
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
