Job Description

The tax preparer conducts an in-depth interview with the client and obtains all information and material required for tax return preparation. They fully communicate to clients the procedures, paperwork, and timeframes applicable to the service being provided. The tax preparer accurately prepares all paperwork and completes all required data entry according to office policy and procedures.

Liberty Tax Service is looking for experienced tax preparers with strong customer service skills to deliver many happy returns. Tax preparation isn’t just about bean counting! Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Establish rapport with clients to build working relationships and increase retention
Provide exceptional customer service
Prepare individual tax returns utilizing the information provided by the clients, and inputting into tax preparation software
Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

2+ years of experience required
Required PTIN eligibility
Required CTEC Registered
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to communicate in a professional manner
Qualified applicants must be self-starters and computer literate
Flexible to work nights and weekends as necessary
Attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Position requires working in an office atmosphere assisting clients.
