Job Description

We are seeking energetic, multi-tasking, organized, personable and hardworking master or Senior Master level Ford technicians to provide high-quality vehicle maintenance, service, and repairs. Technicians may work independently or in a team environment in providing exceptional vehicle service to customers, while being mindful of the control of costs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies
Perform some more complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, and some fabrication
Keep shop area clean and tidy
Perform work in accordance with safety standards
Dispose of all fluids in a safe manner and in accordance with all regulations
Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records.
Based upon certification level, experience, and area of expertise, perform a variety of automotive, heavy-duty, diesel, transmission, drivetrain, diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services. Duties may include diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, servicing, and replacing transmissions, transaxles, transfer cases, clutches, differentials, torque converters, valve bodies, engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, electrical and electronic systems, and other related vehicle components; performing preventative maintenance and fluid services; diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, electronic, mechanical, and drivability concerns using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment; completing warranty and customer-pay repairs; conducting vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs; utilizing specialized tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology; accurately documenting diagnostic findings, repair procedures, parts used, and labor operations; and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable certification requirements, and dealership quality standards.

Qualifications

GM Certification is REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED; will consider 3+ years of related work experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED
3 - 5 years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred
Valid CA driver’s license and safe driving record required
Requires some A.S.E. Automotive or Truck Certification or other related certifications
