Part-Time Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Location: Denver, CO 80237
Schedule: Days are open to discussion
Job Type: Part-Time

Our friendly, patient-focused dental practice is looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and personable professional who enjoys providing outstanding customer service while keeping a busy dental office running smoothly.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll create a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out while managing scheduling, insurance-related administrative tasks, and daily front office operations.

Paid working interviews are available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Welcome and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude.
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
Schedule and confirm appointments for the doctor and hygienists.
Collect patient payments, including copays and balances.
Present and review treatment plans with patients.
Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain an accurate appointment calendar.
Enter and update patient information accurately in Dentrix.
Scan, file, and maintain patient records and office documents.
Collaborate with the Office Manager and clinical team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
Working knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software and Dexis imaging software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Accurate data entry and computer skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Ability to reliably commute to Denver, CO 80237, or relocate prior to starting employment.
Available to work Possibly Tuesdays and Wednesdays
