Full Job Description

We are seeking motivated and licensed Medicare Field Agents to join our growing team in Cabarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, Union, and York County. This is a 1099 independent contractor role ideal for self-driven individuals who are comfortable working in the field, building relationships, and guiding clients through Medicare plan options.

Agents will educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans while maintaining full compliance with CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-person appointments with Medicare-eligible clients
Serve as a trusted advisor to Medicare beneficiaries, helping them confidently navigate their insurance options
Educate clients on plan options (Medicare Advantage, Supplements, PDP)
Complete enrollments accurately and compliantly
Build and maintain a personal book of business
Generate your own leads through networking, community outreach, and referrals
Stay up to date on carrier products and CMS regulations
Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits while providing a personalized experience that sets Ping Health apart

Requirements:

Active Life & Health Insurance License (North Carolina)
Current AHIP Certification
Ability to obtain and maintain Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Previous Medicare sales experience
Locally Connected (In-depth knowledge of your local healthcare market)
Tech-Savvy (comfortable using sales platforms and digital tools)
Flexible (willing to work non-traditional hours, especially during AEP)
Comfortable with the daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events and engaging with the community through service, retail environment, organizations, volunteer work, or local events
Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups
Bilingual (a plus, not required)
