The Nurse Director Obstetric Services will oversee a dynamic labor and delivery department within a comprehensive women’s health platform that includes obstetric services and maternal child health programming. This organization houses over 130 providers across 21 specialties and features key services such as an advanced 24/7 emergency department, an intensive care unit, orthopedics, and general surgery, along with a state-of-the-art birthing center. The hospital holds an elite 4-star CMS quality rating and is highly regarded for providing a personalized, family-centered childbirth experience. The unit blends the cozy amenities of a boutique facility with the clinical rigor of a premier community health system, offering spacious private rooms and housing a specialized OB/GYN surgical suite directly inside the unit, ensuring seamless, high-acuity care for mothers and newborns alike.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Maternal Child Health will provide strategic and operational leadership for labor, delivery, postpartum, and associated women’s health services. The Nurse Director Labor Delivery will guide clinical managers, charge nurses, and a dedicated team of compassionate RNs while partnering closely with OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, anesthesiology providers, neonatal specialists, and surgical teams. Responsibilities include oversight of quality metrics, regulatory compliance, staffing strategy, budgeting, patient safety initiatives, and professional practice standards. This Nurse Director Birthing Center will champion a collaborative environment built on trust, mentorship, and accountability, supporting friendly, highly skilled nurses and a diverse interdisciplinary team committed to exceptional maternal and neonatal outcomes.
