JOB SUMMARY
The Territory Sales Manager will manage a wide range of sales functions. The Territory Manager is responsible for generating new leads and accounts, up selling and servicing existing Cyrex account holders in their assigned territory. This is a medical sales position. They are required to travel throughout the designated territory on a regular basis, up to 25%. They will interact directly with the Global Sales Manager at all levels in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, positive, proactive, and resourceful. The candidate must demonstrate a high level of Cyrex testing base knowledge and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Territory Manager is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities.
· Understand the science behind Cyrex testing and clinical uses.
· Educate potential clients about Cyrex Laboratories’ Pillars of Excellence and high complexity testing services.
· Effectively discuss key competitor differences and deeply understand the functional medicine industry.
· Develop positive and trusting relationships with all potential and principal clients.
· Close business within a timely manner while focusing on the client’s requirements.
· Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
· Provide administrative support to include activity and test volume reports of Cyrex clients and complete adequate sales forecasts.
· Assist with educating clients on Cyrex Arrays to increase test volume, sales, and account retention.
· Schedule and assist with education calls, webinars, and in-service presentations.
· Contact VIP clients in advance of events to visit the Cyrex booth.
· Maintain CRM used for various sales activities, planning, and event projects.
· Communicate activities with Leadership, Customer Service, and any other departments.
· Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and reports in appropriate files.
· May receive calls regarding complaints, which may be resolved or referred to proper person for resolution.
· As needed, accompany the Global Sales Manager at conferences/events or attend solely as a Cyrex representative.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individuals must be able to perform each essential duty competently. Sales experience required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in the Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Physiology).
· A minimum of two years selling in a customer-facing role, calling on outside clients, and selling in an account-based environment is required. Preference goes to those with experience selling to medical providers, large multi-practice clinics, and/or health systems.
· Experience in the Functional Medicine and Integrative Medicine space is a huge plus.
· Experience in laboratory diagnostics is not required, but strongly preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
