Our mission is to create a compassionate space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves. We are seeking a warm, motivated, and clinically grounded Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (CPC-Intern) to join our growing Soul Tribe.

This opportunity is ideal for an emerging clinician who wants to strengthen their clinical skills, build a meaningful caseload, and grow within a collaborative and purpose-driven practice.

Your Role

As a CPC-Intern, you will provide thoughtful, client-centered mental health services under approved clinical supervision. You will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop healthier coping tools, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Responsibilities include:

Providing individual, couples, family, or group counseling within your approved scope and competency
Completing assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, safety plans, and discharge documentation
Using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive interventions
Building a consistent and engaged client caseload
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment goals when appropriate
Assessing for safety concerns and following crisis and mandated-reporting procedures
Participating in clinical supervision, case consultation, training, and team meetings
Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Protecting client confidentiality and maintaining ethical professional boundaries
Collaborating with Selah-Vee clinicians, wellness practitioners, and administrative partners

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, organized, and open to clinical feedback. You understand that meaningful care includes not only the therapy session, but also preparation, documentation, consistency, and follow-through.

Required qualifications:

Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related qualifying field
Active Nevada CPC-Intern registration or eligibility to obtain registration before providing services
An approved Nevada clinical supervisor and supervision agreement
Foundational knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, ethics, and crisis intervention
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Ability to receive and apply clinical supervision
Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage before beginning services
Commitment to maintaining a consistent client schedule and completing documentation on time

Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, self-esteem, women’s mental health, adolescents, couples, or life transitions is preferred.
