Perks & Compensation:

Earn up to $170 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers.
Paid training hours, professional development opportunities vary by state
Weekly paychecks via direct deposit
Hired as a W-2 employee so no worrying about withholding your own taxes
Reimbursement for expenses related to state and federal background checks
401k enrollment after meeting eligibility requirements
Referral Program: Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards

What We’re Looking For:

Hold a Bachelors Degree
Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
State & federal background checks
Passion for education and putting students first
An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

You’ll Stand Out If You:

Have a Substitute Teaching Permit OR NV Teaching Credential
Willing to accept placements in North Las Vegas
Have previous experience in special education settings
You are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience
