The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Tax Associate who is both detail-oriented and strategic. In this role, you’ll oversee a robust portfolio of tax clients, mentor franchise teams, and drive growth through exceptional service and performance. You’ll have the autonomy to make an impact and the support of a collaborative, fast-growing organization.

What You’ll DoPortfolio Management & Growth

Manage and grow a diverse tax preparation portfolio with a focus on retention, profitability, and insurance conversion.
Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to organizational growth.

Leadership & Development

Mentor and coach franchisees and their teams to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Establish accountability through structured coaching and regular performance reviews.
Partner with franchise owners to strengthen operations and improve the overall client experience.

Operational Oversight

Track and analyze key performance metrics (returns, retention, revenue, etc.).
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure full compliance with IRS regulations, GAAP standards, and company policies.

Tax Compliance & Advisory

Review and analyze tax books of business; prepare supporting documentation.
Stay current on evolving federal and state tax laws across the U.S.
Clearly explain complex tax matters to clients in a way that builds trust and confidence.

What You Bring

3–5 years of professional tax experience with a proven record in sales or client portfolio growth.
Experience managing a seasonal book of business with 1,000+ transmitted returns.
Proficiency with tax software, CRMs, and sales analytic tools.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Workspace.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in marketing and business development.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)preferred – both written and verbal.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience — 3–5+ years of sales leadership may substitute for a degree).
