ABOUT THIS JOB

PRI Productions – operating in The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina – has an immediate opening on its event labor crew for a qualified, hardworking, detail-oriented and exceptionally reliable candidate to lead our crew team.

The Event Service Lead is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as delivery, setup and safe installation of various rental products. The Event Services Lead will work under the direction of the Event Manager (and sometimes a client) to install tables, chairs, lighting, draping, stages, dance floors, décor, floral arrangements and more. You will be working inside and outside multiple days during the week, rain or shine, because as they say in the production world: the show must go on. During non-event days, Event Services Lead will perform product inventory, maintain organization and cleanliness of product warehouse and auxiliary storage areas, pick up and return event décor, schedule contract workers for future events, and more! This person will work closely with our Event Managers prior to, during, and after events to ensure that each is executed seamlessly. Applicants must be motivated, responsible, work safely/efficiently and professionally while performing physically demanding work. We are looking for a team player who is also a confident leader; enthusiasm and a positive attitude is of utmost importance! Pay commensurate with experience, with a potential for overtime.

REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a valid driver's license (CDL a plus)

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to communicate with other staff, vendors, and clients in a professional manner

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with full range of motion and dexterity

· Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

· Ability to work well both independently and with a team

· Flexible schedule to accommodate working nights and weekends

· Basic computer and telephone communication skills
