Full Job Description

Oxbo is the worldwide leader in specialty harvesters. We design, manufacture, and distribute innovative harvesting equipment and related products for the application, berry, citrus, coffee, field corn, forage, fresh market vegetable, olives, processed vegetable, seed, and vineyard markets

Seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup Operator to join our 2nd Shift team. Our operation is a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment producing industry-leading agricultural equipment. Unlike repetitive production environments, our operators work on a wide variety of components and assemblies in small batches, often performing multiple setups throughout the shift.

If you enjoy problem solving, blueprint interpretation, machine setup, and producing quality parts in a modern manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Set up and operate Trumpf CNC press brakes to form precision sheet metal components
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Utilize machine programs and setup documentation to efficiently produce quality parts
Load and install tooling as specified by setup instructions and machine programs
Verify material type, thickness, and tooling requirements prior to production
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
Utilize measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications
Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
Safely handle raw materials and formed components
Work closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating press brakes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication prints
Ability to perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Experience using measuring equipment including calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, and other inspection tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred Experience

Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
Experience forming carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
Familiarity with Oseon production software
Experience supporting laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication operations
