Full Job Description

Company Overview

ECHO Financial & Insurance Services Inc is an independent commercial insurance agency serving businesses throughout California. We specialize in workers’ compensation, general liability, business owners policies, commercial property, commercial auto, professional liability, and other business insurance products.

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Commercial Insurance Producer to develop new client relationships and build a book of commercial insurance business.

This is a remote, independent contractor position paid through commissions. There is no hourly wage, base salary, or guaranteed income.

The producer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through networking, referrals, direct outreach, and existing professional relationships. The agency does not guarantee leads.

ECHO provides access to insurance markets, quoting assistance, policy processing, administrative support, and ongoing account servicing support.

Duties

Develop new commercial insurance prospects
Build relationships with business owners and referral partners
Gather underwriting information from prospective clients
Review client operations and insurance needs
Work with the agency to obtain and present insurance quotes
Follow up with prospects and clients
Maintain accurate notes and documentation
Assist with client retention and renewal communication
Follow agency procedures and insurance regulations

Qualifications

Active California Property and Casualty insurance license
Previous insurance, sales, or business development experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently
Comfortable generating new business without guaranteed leads
Organized and dependable
Commercial insurance experience is preferred

Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Romanian, Thai, or Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.

Compensation

Estimated compensation is $40,000 to $80,000 per year.

Compensation is commission-only and depends on the producer’s sales, production, retention, and book of business. Earnings are not guaranteed.

New business and renewal commission terms will be explained in the written producer agreement.

Work Hours

This position has a flexible, self-directed schedule. There are no fixed daily office hours. Producers are expected to remain responsive to clients and the agency during normal business hours when necessary.
