Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Hand. This position offers an opportunity to work in a beautiful and rewarding environment, assisting with various tasks related to farm operations. The ideal candidate will be Independent and meticulous and reliable. Project will include 8-10 hours a week. Helping get the property cleaned up and the grounds manicured. All equipment provided.
Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as required
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience operating Tractor, brush hog, mowers, weed trimmers, chain saws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, including barns, stables, and pastures
- Assist with maintaining grounds and helping clean up property
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to farm policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic farm practices, including animal care, crop cultivation, and machinery operation is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues is beneficial
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with other team members
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge or experience with equine care is desirable
