Pioneer Recovery Center is a women's residential substance use disorder treatment program seeking a Community Life & Alumni Coordinator to create meaningful experiences that promote connection, recovery, and personal growth. This position combines activities coordination, community outreach, alumni engagement, client transportation, and marketing support into one rewarding role.

Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily, evening, and weekend recreational activities, wellness programming, educational groups, and community outings.
- Develop monthly activity calendars that encourage engagement and support recovery goals.
- Coordinate off-site trips including volunteer projects, recovery meetings, shopping, community events, parks, recreational activities, and special outings.
- Safely transport clients using a company vehicle to scheduled activities, appointments, and community events.
- Provide occasional on-call transportation for new admissions arriving for treatment or other client transportation needs.
- Develop and grow Pioneer Recovery Center's Alumni Program through events, outreach, volunteer opportunities, and ongoing engagement.
- Build relationships with community organizations, local businesses, volunteer groups, and recovery partners.
- Assist with social media, newsletters, photography (with client consent), and community marketing efforts.
- Welcome new clients, encourage participation, and help foster a positive, recovery-focused community.
- Collaborate with counselors, nursing staff, and leadership while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable driving clients in a company vehicle
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health, social services, recreation therapy, case management, recovery support, peer support, community outreach, or nonprofit organizations is preferred but not required.

- PLEASE NOTE - pay will be based entirely on experience and is negotiable. This is a new role and you will be a key part of creating this amazing client support!
Schedule
- Part-time
- Day shift and evenings, 2 weekends per month for activities and events
- Occasional on-call transportation for client admissions
Work Location: In person – Cloquet, MN
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
