Mindfully Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who also serves as collaborating physician for our expanding psychiatry services. The psychiatrist will supervise up to 5 nurse practitioners, with the option of providing psychiatric services to patients of the practice. This can be a remote/hybrid role with a flexible schedule.
Our private practice offers autonomy and independence while maintaining a sense of community, and our Mindfully Academy provides training opportunities in different modalities and specializations, such as DBT, EMDR, child/Adolescent, SUD, Couples/IFS/Emotion Focused/Gottman and much more.
Responsibilities:

Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights

Prescribes and manages medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age

Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice

Performs designated procedures

Ensures compliance

Works collaboratively with integrated team, including PMHNP and counselors

Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners to develop and implement patient care plans.

Review and sign off on patient charts and treatment plans as required by state regulations.

Provide guidance and support to nurse practitioners in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Be available for consultation and emergencies as needed.
Compensation:
$500.00 per Nurse Practitioner per month.

Qualifications and skills:

Required License – Psychiatry
-
Active and unrestricted Ohio license to practice medicine (MD, DO)

Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team

Strong preference for specialty practice area such as children, adolescents, SUD recovery, geriatrics, or disabilities.

Comfortable with a 1099 position

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
