The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Injector to join our Belle Meade team. This is a cosmetic focused role for a nurse with meaningful hands on injectable experience who is confident conducting aesthetic consultations and building individualized treatment plans.
The ideal candidate combines technical skill, excellent judgment, a sophisticated understanding of facial anatomy, and the ability to earn long term patient trust. Success means safe, refined outcomes, strong patient retention, and a productive cosmetic schedule without a sales driven approach.
What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment recommendations based on patient goals, anatomy, skin health, and clinical indications.
- Perform neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments within applicable scope of practice and physician directed clinical protocols.
- Provide laser and device treatments based on experience, training, and clinical privileges, including technologies such as Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, DermaV, and Sofwave.
- Develop aesthetic care plans that may incorporate injectables, devices, medical grade skincare, and clinical aesthetic services.
- Assess treatment candidacy, recognize contraindications or potential complications, and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, aftercare, maintenance, and ongoing skin health.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reliable patient follow up.
- Collaborate with our dermatologist, advanced practice providers, aesthetician, medical assistants, and front office team to deliver coordinated care.
- Contribute to practice growth through trusted patient relationships, retention, referrals, and awareness of Cortina's broader cosmetic capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Meaningful hands on experience performing cosmetic injectable treatments.
- Demonstrated experience with both neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy, aesthetic treatment principles, patient selection, and clinical safety.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct cosmetic consultations and communicate treatment recommendations clearly.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient first approach.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and timely clinical documentation.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with advanced injectable techniques and full face aesthetic treatment planning.
- Experience with laser, energy based, or other cosmetic device treatments.
- Experience in a physician led dermatology, plastic surgery, or high quality medical aesthetics environment.
- Knowledge of medical grade skincare and the ability to incorporate skin health into broader aesthetic treatment planning.
- Experience with ModMed or a similar dermatology focused EMR.
Schedule Expectations
This is a full time, patient facing position. Our practice intentionally offers appointment availability outside traditional business hours to improve access for patients. Candidates should be comfortable with a schedule that includes a mix of daytime and evening availability and may include occasional Saturday coverage.
