Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, staff, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
