Full Job Description

Paddywax Candle Bar is your one stop shop for all things candles! We create a fun candlemaking experience for our customers, as well as selling them their favorite fragrances and vessels. We are hiring a store manager who has the passion for retail, as well as the ability to create a fun environment.

Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Create and maintain a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training to ensure staff is knowledgeable about products and services
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market competition to make informed business decisions
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing stock as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and evaluate employees
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
