Business Development Executive – Commercial Facilities Services

Location: South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton & West Palm Beach)

Opus Operations is expanding its presence in South Florida and is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to help drive our next phase of growth.

This is a true new-business development role. You won't inherit existing accounts or spend your time maintaining client relationships. Your focus is simple: identify opportunities, build relationships, close new commercial clients, and grow the business.

You'll represent a company known for delivering exceptional service and long-term client relationships. Once a client is onboarded, our experienced Operations team takes ownership of day-to-day service delivery, allowing you to stay focused on selling while remaining engaged through strategic relationship management and periodic business reviews.

What You'll Do

Build and grow a commercial sales territory throughout South Florida.
Sell integrated facility services, including janitorial, porter, security, and concierge solutions.
Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, company-provided leads, walk-ins, and strategic outreach.
Meet with Property Managers, Regional Managers, Facility Directors, ownership groups, and other commercial decision-makers.
Conduct site visits, needs assessments, presentations, and proposal meetings.
Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and close new business.
Maintain an organized and disciplined sales pipeline in Salesforce.
Partner with Operations to ensure a seamless client transition and long-term client success.

What We're Looking For

Proven success in B2B outside sales or business development.
A self-motivated, disciplined professional who enjoys building business from the ground up.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable spending the majority of your week prospecting and meeting clients throughout your territory.
Experience managing opportunities within a CRM (Salesforce preferred).

Preferred Experience

Commercial janitorial, security, staffing, facilities services, property management, or related industries.
Experience selling to commercial real estate organizations, property managers, or facility management professionals.
Existing relationships within the South Florida commercial real estate or property management community are a plus.
Formal sales training such as Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar.

Compensation

We invest in our salespeople while they build their territory.

During your ramp-up period, you'll receive guaranteed compensation of $60,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience. As your business grows, you'll transition to a 100% commission compensation model with no cap on earnings.

Our commission structure is based on the revenue you generate, allowing high performers to directly benefit from the business they build.

Work Location

This is a remote, field-based position serving the South Florida market, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. While there is no local office, this role requires regular travel throughout your assigned territory to meet with prospects and clients.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
