About At Mine Hospitality

At Mine Hospitality supports boutique and independent hotels with a disciplined, results-driven operating model focused on streamlining operations and delivering consistent guest experiences. Our model is built for efficient operations and lean staffing — without sacrificing quality — so the work we do is organized, practical, and execution-focused.

The Role

We're hiring a Recruiting & HR Coordinator to help run and scale our hiring engine. This is a hands-on, early-career role for someone who wants to own HR coordination from day one: onboarding, documentation, compliance, while building recruiting fundamentals under direct mentorship in a lean hospitality environment. Additionally, an opportunity to build and shape HR operations as the company's hotel portfolio grows.

You'll work directly alongside our Training Manager, who oversees training and selection systems for the company. You'll partner closely with operations leaders to keep hiring moving, strengthen selection steps, and improve the candidate-to-start experience.

What You'll Do

Post roles, source candidates, and build repeatable pipelines for hospitality operations positions (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and other property support roles)
Drive candidate flow day-to-day: review applicants, conduct first screens, keep candidates engaged, and move them through next steps quickly
Build and maintain sourcing channels — job boards, referrals, community partners, local schools/programs, hiring events — to reduce "start-from-zero" hiring
Coordinate interviews, schedules, offer letters, and start dates so candidates are ready to begin on time
Maintain HR department operations including preboarding/onboarding: background check coordination, document collection, I-9 documentation, orientation scheduling
Maintain accurate candidate and new-hire data in our Excel-based tracking system; produce simple weekly visibility reporting on pipeline status

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)

You can independently run the daily cadence of recruiting: applicant review, outreach, scheduling, and follow-up — without candidates falling through the cracks
Our candidate trackers stay current and reliable, enabling clear weekly hiring visibility for ownership
You help establish a few consistent sourcing channels (referrals, community partners, repeatable outreach routines) that reduce last-minute scrambling
Candidate experience improves: faster response times, clearer next steps, fewer no-shows due to better selection, confirmations, and communication
Onboarding documentation stays current and compliant — I-9s, background checks, and new-hire files are completed accurately and on time without chasing.

Required Qualifications

1+ year of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition support, onboarding coordination, or a related HR function
Strong organization and attention to detail — you naturally keep statuses, notes, and handoffs up to date
Comfortable with outreach: messaging or calling candidates, tracking responses, keeping momentum
Basic familiarity with HR compliance-sensitive work (confidentiality, consistent documentation, I-9 documentation, or similar onboarding processes)
Comfortable using Excel (or Google Sheets) and AI tools — or willing to learn — to build and maintain trackers and reports
Ability to work in-person in Miami, FL 33137

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred for the Miami market)
Recruiting pipelines and cycles exposure in hospitality, hotels, retail, restaurants, or other high-turnover service environments
Experience working in or around an ATS (Greenhouse, iCIMS, Workable, Lever, BambooHR) or excel recruiting tracker
Familiarity with structured hiring tools (scorecards, rubrics, behavioral interview guides) or interest in evidence-based selection methods

What This Job Is Not

Not a payroll-focused or benefits-administration-heavy role
Not a senior HR generalist role handling complex employee relations investigations
